East Ayrshire’s leisure operator after a management shake-up. The staff took voluntary redundancy at East Ayrshire Leisure Trust, which runs Kilmarnock’s Palace Theatre and other popular venues in the area.East Ayrshire Council signed off payment of the severance costs at a meeting held in private last month.An East Ayrshire Leisure Trust spokeswoman said: “This was part of a review of management structures that took place in 2019 and was approved by the board of Trustees in January 2020.“Six people took voluntary severance as part of the review.”The charity – which oversees Dean Castle and other major attractions – manages venues on behalf of the local authority.A council finance boss submitted a private report to councillors at a closed.
