The Spanish midfielder left United to join PSG on a free transfer last summer, five years after moving to Old Trafford for £29million.
His time at United came to an abrupt end after failing to agree a new deal, despite expectations he would sign fresh terms. And Herrera has admitted he took the choice to leave United as he did not feel valued by the club during the negotiation process. "It was not about money," Herrera insisted to The Athletic. "It was not about the duration of the contract offer.
