The Chilean has struggled since signing his well publicised mega-money deal at Old Trafford in 2018. But after a hugely underwhelming 18 months he was shipped out on loan to Inter Milan in an effort to rediscover his best form.
Sanchez has spent large periods of the season out with injury however and could be let go by United once he returns from Italy.
Prior to his move to Manchester the 31-year-old was a star at Arsenal and attracted interest from around Europe. And Ronaldo has spoken highly of him and would welcome him to Spain.
