A 6.5 magnitude earthquake has hit Idaho in the US prompting people to flee their homes or crawl under tables in terror. The earthquake, north of Boise, was felt in seven states according to KTVB.
One resident tweeted: "6.5 mag earthquake just happened in Idaho felt like I was on a boat actually feeling like I’m sea sick inside my apartment. "What is going on 2020 is crazy y’all." Another added: "We had an earthquake in Idaho today & I was surprised at how everyone freaked out - people got under tables, ran outside, etc." The earthquake, 72km west of Challis, was at a depth of 10km, EMSC said, and struck just before 6pm local time.
