After Eamonn Holmes shed three stone, he and Ruth Langsford are planning to spend next year working on their muscles. The couple will have more time to focus on their health, after being axed from their weekly Friday presenting slot on This Morning.
Eamonn, 61, and Ruth, 60, are desperate for the pair to prevent themselves developing osteoporosis so plans to convert their garage into a weights training room for double exercises. “A lot of fitness experts advocate weight or resistance training to give yourself tone, strengthen your core, posture and strengthen your bones, therefore staving off osteoporosis in older age,” explains Ruth. “My vision is to get a weights bench in the garage and spend 30 mins every day on a joint routine.” Eamonn
