Drivers visiting Dunham Massey have been 'causing problems' for local residents in Trafford. The National Trust house and car park remain closed, but visitors are continuing to drive to the area with some parking 'inappropriately' on adjacent country lanes.
All National Trust parks were closed in March, including Dunham Massey near Altrincham, after the Prime Minister imposed the coronavirus lockdown.
The deer park and gardens were also closed off to the public. Some of the larger National Trust car parks across the country were reopened in May as the lockdown was eased, but Dunham Massey remains closed.
People are continuing to flock to the popular beauty spot and parking nearby. Trafford Council said the parking is causing problems
