arrested or charged after a mass Class A drugs and weapons bust in South Ayrshire. Police stormed five addresses in Ayr at around 8pm on Wednesday March 31.
Officers burst into five properties in Princess Court, Nelson Place and Philip Square in the Braehead area of the town. Twelve people were either arrested or charged for a series of offences.The list included possession of offensive weapons, supply and possession of controlled drugs and breach of bail.Cocaine, heroin and cannabis, alleged to be dealer quantities, were seized at some of the addresses.Two men, aged 19 and 35, will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday.The others are subject of reports to the Procurator Fiscal.Police thanked locals who helped with the operation.Officers.
