Dog stolen from Scots garden and thrown out of van as cops launch probe

Dumfries and it is thought the dog was stolen from a nearby garden. The pooch was returned to its owner but it is believed that two female witnesses may have seen the dog being thrown from a small green van.

Officers are interested in speaking with a female who was driving a black three door Vauxhall Astra as she may have witnessed the event.
