Man seriously injured in Glasgow 'disturbance' as cops launch probe

Cops found a 25-year-old man with serious injuries. He was raced to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.Officers said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.One local resident claims the road and surrounding area was taped off by cops as their launched an investigation.The nature of the incident is yet to be confirmed by police.A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Record that enquiries are ongoing.The spokesperson said: "At around 5.45pm on Saturday, May 8 we received a report of a disturbance on Meiklerig Crescent, Glasgow."A 25-year-old man was taken.
