Liverpool have reached another significant milestone in their development of Anfield following the erection of 300-tonne roof truss on the Anfield Road Stand.
Work began on the stand, which is opposite The Kop, last September, and is expected to be finished in time for the start of the 2023-24 season.
Once completed, it will provide the Reds with an extra 7,000 seats - taking the overall capacity to 61,000.It will make Anfield the third largest ground in the Premier League, behind only Old Trafford and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
