Ellen DeGeneres may have shared her condolences after her ex-girlfriend Anne Heche tragically passed away last week, but that doesn’t mean they were on good terms. She reportedly will not be included in the late film star’s funeral.

However, Heche’s body remained on life support while her organs were evaluated for donation.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram, Bergl honored Heche, who was often described as “crazy.”  “You worked with crazy Anne Heche?” “So how crazy was she?” I worked with Anne Heche for two years on the TV show, and this line of questioning was usually the first out of people’s mouths,” the 47-year-old wrote next to a photo of the late actress. “She elicited more curiosity than any other famous person I’ve ever worked with.

Anne Heche is no longer with us after she has been taken off life support. However, one of her dreams became a reality when she was able to donate organs to someone in need.

LAPD has dismissed the investigation into Anne Heche's car crash following the actress' death. Heche was "peacefully taken off" of life support Sunday after she was declared brain-dead on Friday. "As of today, there will be no further investigative efforts made in this case," Officer Norma Eisenman told Fox News Digital on Friday.  "Any information or records that have been requested prior to this turn of events will still be collected as they arrive as a matter of formalities and included in the overall case.
