Rachel Elnaugh was scrutinising business plans and tearing into entrepreneurs on Dragons' Den. But behind-the-scenes, she was coming under heavy fire while her own company started to implode spectacularly back in 2005.
This left Den bosses in uncomfortable position as they couldn't allow a perceived 'failed' businessperson to be on the panel looking to invest cash.
Then the situation got even more complex when Rachel's business went into administration and two of her fellow Dragons got their claws in.
The businesswoman, who appeared in the first two series of the show and was the initially the only female investor, founded Red Letter Days in 1989.
