Download festival to return in June as 10,000-capacity Covid pilot event

Download festival will return in June. The music event is set to take place with 10,000 people at Donington Park as part of the UK government’s scientific Events Research Programme and being called Download Pilot.

Rock music lovers will be pleased to hear that camping will take place and the wearing of face masks and social distancing will not be required at the event.

The festival will kick off on June 18 and go on until June 20. Music fans can bag tickets for £120 on June 1 - with priority being given to those with existing Download tickets - before the remaining tickets go on general sale on June 3.
