State Pension age and need extra help because of an illness, disability or mental health condition, you could qualify for a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and receive between £23.60 and £151.40 a week.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) pays successful claimants every four week, so that amounts to between £94.40 and £605.60 each month.
PIP is non-means tested, tax-free and can be claimed by anyone if they are in or out of work - as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
