Nick Knowles and the team took on the immense challenge, and even roped in royalty to help them achieve their goal. With just 10 days to complete the mission to completely overhaul the empty properties in Miles Platting, Manchester, it was always going to be a tall order.
Dubbed the veterans village, the aim of the project is provide housing for veterans who were seriously injured, or suffered horrific trauma, while serving in conflicts like Iraq and Afghanistan.
Many had been forced to live in completely unsuitable homes, isolating them from friends, family and loved ones, and preventing them from moving on
