Two crafty brothers have made their own parquet flooring using free, second-hand pallets. Harry Wright, 35, and Charlie Osborne, 29, wanted to treat their mum to a new living room floor, but the on-trend herringbone flooring they wanted cost thousands of pounds.
Instead the DIY duo managed to get pallet wood for free from Facebook Marketplace and create their very own masterpiece. In total, the money-saving project cost them just £100.
