Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Saturday Night Live is back! Season 50 of the NBC sketch comedy series premiered on Saturday (Sept. 28) with Maya Rudolph returning for the cold open to portray Vice President Kamala Harris.
In the cold open, Maya as Harris hosted a rally where she was joined by several very special guests. Keep reading to find out more…First up was Jim Gaffigan, who played Harris‘ running mate Tim Walz. “In Minnesota we have a saying: ‘Mind your damn business,’” Jim as Walz said. “We also have another saying in Minnesota: ‘My nuts froze to the park bench.” Maya was then joined out on stage by Andy Samberg, who played Harris‘ husband Doug Emhoff.
While on stage, Andy as Doug referred to himself as the Second Gentlemensch” and joked about decorating the White House for Christmas, saying, “The theme is Hanukkah.” Finally, Dana Carvey came out as a rather confused President Joe Biden. “A lot of people forget I’m president.
Even me!” Dana as Biden said. Also during the cold open, cast member James Austin Johnson returned as former President Donald Trump while Bowen Yang stepped in to play his running mate J.D.
