Dixy Chicken’s licensing application for its Wilbraham Road premises attracted more than 20 objections from locals and the Manchester council licensing authority.

Concerns were raised that the late night refreshment licence sought by the fast food chain would have increased existing issues around littering, noise nuisance and antisocial behaviour.

The same issues were raised in August last year when the same franchise tried to extend its opening hours until 3am, only for licensing
