Monty Don, 65, has taken to social media to confirm that Gardeners' World will be aired this evening.The BBC favourite gardening programme was taken off air yesterday from its regular scheduled time of 9pm, following the death of The Duke of Edinburgh.The gardening expert consoled "devastated" fans who were delighted at the good news following the death of Prince Philip yesterday.Updating his 220,000 Twitter followers on the situation, Monty revealed the good news to his eager fans.He wrote: "Last night's Gardeners World is now being broadcast 8pm this evening on BBC2.

Enjoy it!"The tweet has so far gained over 5,000 likes.The good news comes as the favourite gardening series was pulled from BBC last night for an extended news special on.
