Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mavis the five-year-old cat went missing from her home on Bourton Drive after she was last fed on Thursday (April 8). Owners Nick Bradley-Sutton and Emma Ginder became worried after they noticed she had still not returned a day later.
After a search of the house, Nick looked over their back garden fence and made a sickening discovery. Mavis’s body was left dumped on Annie Lees Park, just metres from where she would often sit and “watch the world go by”.
