A grandmother has been jailed for 17 years after she left her five-year-old grandson in a hot car with no air conditioning while she was inside a casino.Alanna Jean Orr, 50, was sentenced to 210 months after she left her five-year-old grandson Maddox Ryan Durbin in a sweltering hot car for six hours.Orr was caring for the young boy on June 21, 2018, when she entered Kickapoo Casino in Harrah, Oklahoma at approximately 1.23pm.She left little Maddox in the car, while temperatures in the area reach ninety degrees, and the grandmother did not leave the casino until 7.28pm.Orr called authorities around 15 minutes after she left the casino, and claimed her grandson had choked.She told police Maddox was not breathing, an arrest affidavit states,
