Motherwell’s MP has led calls for stricter rules around the sale of fireworks following a devastating house fire in the Lanarkshire town.
Marion Fellows MP for Motherwell and Wishaw said she wants a “strict permit scheme” for fireworks run by local authorities in a bid to minimise the dangers of private displays.
