Family and friends are raising funds for a little girl whose mum was stabbed to death. Kimberley Deakin was heard screaming "help, help" as she fled across the street to her neighbours' homes in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs., on Friday afternoon.
Covered in blood, the 29-year-old banged on doors before collapsing and dying from her injuries. A post-mortem examination found she died from stab wounds.
Her four-month-old baby daughter Ava, who was born in June, is now believed to be living with heartbroken relatives. More than £1,000 has already been raised after Kimberley's loved ones launched a fundraising appeal.
