The Spanish midfielder arrived during the winter transfer window of 2019, after rejecting offers from the likes of Real Betis, Sevilla, AC Milan.
Suarez was struggling for game time at Barcelona and was enticed to England by former Arsenal boss Unai Emery, but made just six appearances for the Gunners.
But he amassed a dismal total of just 67 minutes of Premier League action, spread across four substitute outings before heading back to Spain.
