A young woman mistakenly pronounced dead by paramedics spent over two hours in a body bag before an undertaker zipped it open and saw her staring back at him.
The undertaker was preparing to embalm Timesha Beauchamp, meaning her blood would have been drained, and was stunned when he found the 20-year-old with her eyes open.
Miss Beauchamp, who has cerebral palsy, was wrongly declared dead after she suffered a seizure at her family's home in the US city of Southfield, Michigan.
She was taken to a funeral home in Detroit, where she was found to be still breathing, and then rushed to a hospital where she was in a critical condition on a respirator and her heart was beating on its own.
