The deaths of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) leave a huge whole in the soap opera’s storylines.

Without Salem’s two most iconic villains, the sudser risks growing stagnant. However, that can be easily fixed.Although “DOOL” fans know that Stefano and Victor have been about as sinister as a soap villain can be, they’re both gone.

Current fans need a new villain to love and loathe. Of course, members of the Kiriakis and DiMera families to step up seems like the easy choice.

The next great Salem villain could be someone such as EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). EJ’s brother Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is another great choice.
