David and Victoria Beckham have emerged victorious in his battle with his neighbour over plans to beef up security at their swanky £6m Cotswold mansion, according to reports.
Becks had submitted plans to add a gatehouse with two security huts at his home near Chipping Camden, which would be manned 24-hours a day.
But it angered one local who claimed the scheme didn't suit the area and they lodged a complained against the plans which were submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council The former England footballer's neighbour argued "farms and agricultural buildings do not have gatehouses and security huts”.
And they insisted it the scheme was "totally out of keeping" for the idyllic rural area. But the complaint has now been removed, which
