The pro dancer, 32, was unusually harsh this evening, with his scores being much lower than his fellow judges. This evening, the celebrities were tasked with skating to various dance themes.
First up had been Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant, who he marked as 7.0 - while judges John Barrowman, Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean had all marked him as 8.5.
While Ashley had claimed he was being critical due to the dance element, some fans were still perplexed by his range of scoring for various contestants.
