Dad takes daughter to secretly get head shaved behind wife's back

A dad has confessed to allowing his daughter to get her head shaved behind his wife's back even though she begged him not to.

Eight-year-old Anna* was desperate to cut her thick, blonde, curly hair that went down past her waist. But while Anna hated her hair, her mum was "obsessed" with it and was against her ever getting it cut.Her dad took a different side and accompanied her to the hairdressers while her mum was out at work.

His revelation has split readers online with people debating the different parenting styles, the Mirror reports.Taking to Reddit, he said: "Ever since she was a toddler, (my wife would) spend hours doing her hair every day, braiding it, straightening it and styling it in all sorts of ways," he wrote."Our bathroom cabinets are always filled to the brim with a bunch of hair lotions, oils, creams and other fancy products."Anna, however, has never been too fond of getting her hair done."While it looked lovely, she hated getting it brushed and every morning used to be a screaming fest between her and my wife," he explained."Lately, she'd been begging for a shorter haircut.
