EMMERDALE icon Malanda Burrows fought back tears on today's Lorraine as she paid tribute to Deborah James amid her own cancer battle.
The actress, who played Kathy Glover in the soap, has stage three breast cancer. Speaking today from her home in Huddersfield, she praised campaigner and The Sun columnist Deborah, 40, who revealed yesterday she has entered end of life care after a five year battle with bowel cancer.
Malandra, 56, said: "My other great inspiration has to be the wonderful, incredibly amazing Deborah James, and lots of love sweetheart we're all thinking about you. "And thank you for the inspiration you've given me, thank you." Lorraine said it was a lovely tribute that would "mean the world" to Deborah. .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
