Dad sexually assaulted girl wearing school uniform on her birthday

A dad sexually assaulted a girl who was wearing her school uniform on her 16th birthday. Ahmed Khalio, 22, groped the teen and then pinned her against counter before claiming he had been "messing around".The incident occurred last year in Liverpool, when the victim stopped in the Go Local store on her way from school.

Liverpool Crown Court heard that the youngster was alone and still wearing her school uniform on what was her 16th birthday.The defendant, who was employed as a part-time shop assistant, was stacking shelves when she entered.

The Liverpool Echo reports that the 22-year-old then followed the girl as she approached the till and touched her on her bottom.Khalio then walked away to the front door before returning to her, pressing his body against hers from behind and pushing her against the counter.

The shop assistant then asked her "if she loved him", as well as how old she was, telling her "not to tell anyone what happened".The defendant then lifted up her skirt and began touching her legs and thighs before continuing his assault by touching her over her underwear.
