Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a touching family picture with his mother home from hospital after her recent health scare. Dolores Aveiro, 65, was rushed to hospital in Madeira earlier this month after suffering a stroke.

Juventus superstar Ronaldo rushed to his homeland to be by her side before being forced to self-isolate in his property on the island after team-mate Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus.

His mother was released from hospital nearly two weeks after doctors saved her life - and Ronaldo has now appeared to confirm she has joined his family in their seven-story mansion.
