Cristiano Ronaldo criticised for his conduct during coronavirus crisis

Cristiano Ronaldo has been blasted by ex-Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli for taking "pictures in the pool" while self-isolating amid the coronavirus crisis.

The 35-year-old returned to his native Madeira at the start of the month to care for his mother after she suffered a stroke.

With the Serie A season suspended as a result of COVID-19, however, he decided to stay in his luxury villa in Portugal, where he has since shared pictures of himself working out and spending time with his family.

But Cobolli Gigli, who was Juve chairman between 2006-2009, thinks the fact Ronaldo was allowed to go home complicated matters for the rest of the team.
