South Ayrshire.SNP and Labour politicians approved a pilot on Tuesday to create 20 bays for the vehicles at car parks at Ayr's Blackburn Road and Girvan’s Knockcushan Street.It would cost visitors £5 per night and was due to start in April.But Conservative councillors have called in the decision and want it scrapped.Ayr West councillor Derek McCabe said: “Blackburn car park is not suitable.
We agree in principle about providing a facility for motor homes. We want to encourage trade and bring people to Ayr.“But somewhere else needs to be found.
