Corrie's Tina O'Brien reunites with on-screen best pal 17 years after she quit soap

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has reunited with her former cobbles co-star Nikki Sanderson.Tina, who plays Sarah Platt on Corrie, took to Instagram on Friday (September 9) with the news she'd been hanging out with Nikki.Nikki used to play Sarah's best friend Candice Stowe on the soap for six years before she left the soap 17 years ago, when she was just 21-years-old.READ MORE: Corrie's Tina O'Brien shows off killer figure in tiny miniskirt and crop topHowever, it seems the pair have joined forces once again as they were seen roaming around a couture dress shop together.The former on-screen best pals could be seen standing next to each other smiling in front of a range of dresses.Tina, 39, wowed in a black mini dress and matching boots as she let her lush blonde locks fall onto her chest.Nikki let her own brunette locks fall over her shoulders, having opted for a chic pink blazer, pale blue jeans and white trainers.Tina shared the snap to her Instagram Stories to delight Corrie fans across the country.The post, which was originally shared by the store, contained the caption: "The most 2 loveliest ladies in TV [heart emoji]".Nikki joined rival soap Hollyoaks to play Maxine Minniver after leaving Corrie.However, she recently hinted she could return to the cobbles once more during a Q&A with her fans.Asked whether or not she'd reprise her Candice role, Nikki replied: "Never say never."The actress added: "I'm so happy at Hollyoaks, so I'll be there for the foreseeable.

But so never say never."Nikki, 38, is currently dating former Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan, 37, who previously played Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks and Pete Barton in Emmerdale.Nikki gushed over their happy life together as she shared a loved up snap to mark.
