Coronation Street star Maximus Evans' apparent 'snub' of Mollie Gallagher during his acceptance speech.Hosted by Phillip Schofield, the awards ceremony took place in London on Sunday evening - with soap's biggest stars descending on the Hackney Empire to compete in a number of categories.Whilst Emmerdale walked away with the prestigious Best Soap gong, it was Corrie's Corey Brent actor Maximus Evans who took home the Villain of the Year award. With fans happy to see Max win, some viewers on Twitter did question why he neglected to mention his co-star Mollie Gallagher while on stage.Mollie plays Nina Lucas on the ITV soap, who was viciously attacked by Corey and his pals in a brutal assault last year. With Nina's boyfriend Seb Franklin passing away from his injuries, Corey was eventually charged with murder thanks to Nina's campaign for justice. While accepting his Villain of the Year gong, Max thanked a number of his Corrie co-stars by name while failing to mention Mollie and some Soap Awards viewers have questioned why Max didn't thank Mollie while accepting the award. One viewer wrote: "Re-watching last night’s #SoapAwards, noticed Maximus Evans didn’t mention Mollie in his speech."Another added: "So was Max forgetting to thank Mollie a deliberate snub, a slip of his mind or what?"Earlier this year, Corey was imprisoned for a minimum of 14 years for Seb's murder.Asked about a possible return to Coronation Street after the show, Max told Radio Times: "We don't know because I think he got put away for so many years."I think it will be a little while, I'd like it to be a while. "And I think if he was to come back at any time I'd like to see him maybe rehabilitated in some sense, you don't want him to come back as a villain.
