Nuno Espirito Santo slammed the "absurd" decision to continue to play football matches while the coronavirus was killing people all around the world.
His Wolves side drew 1-1 at Olympiakos on Thursday night in one of the Europa League fixtures staged behind closed doors. Earlier yesterday the UK Government announced more stringent measures to tackle Covid-19 but Premier League matches were not to be postponed.
That was until Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was confirmed to have the virus had entered self-isolation with his team’s trip to Brighton on Saturday called off.
Premier League officials are set to meet on Friday morning for crisis talks as to whether all top flight games should follow suit.
