Two people have died overnight at the same hospital after testing positive for coronavirus. The patients were being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital and were both in their 90s with underlying health conditions.

Both were admitted with symptoms of coronavirus and were placed in isolation immediately. The death toll in Milton Keynes is now three - and while the latest two from the region have not been officially announced by the Department of Health, updated figures are expected to be released later today.

Currently official figures state the death toll as 71 across the country. Last night, the UK’s youngest coronavirus victim was tonight named as 45-year-old Craig Ruston.
