Tom Hanks has shared a selfie from coronavirus isolation and thanked the people of Australia for all their help. The Hollywood actor and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for Covid-19, during a trip Down Under and they are now self-isolating for 14 days.
Hanks, 63, returned to Twitter today to share a snap of the pair from behind closed doors and give fans an update on their condition.
The Big star tweeted: "Hello folks. Rita Wilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. "We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. "There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. "We are taking it one day at a time.
