Coronavirus symptoms that cats suffer from emerge as first moggy in UK infected

The UK has had its first confirmed case of coronavirus in a pet cat confirmed after the feline caught the infection from its owner.

Downing Street said today two symptoms prompted the moggy's owners to go to the vet. They were “nasal discharge and some shortness of breath”.

The cat was in England and No. 10 said the case followed animal infections in nations including France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, the US, China, and Hong Kong.
