Coronavirus: Mrs Hinch favourite Zoflora ‘could help to kill COVID-19 at home’

Can a spritz of Zoflora protect your home from coronavirus? While there’s no guarantee that it can keep COVID-19 at bay, it could help.

The products, which are loved by cleaning guru Mrs Hinch, are said to “kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses”. But as of yet, the formula hasn’t been tested on this particular strain of virus.

According to Daily Record, a Zoflora spokesperson said: “Like all other disinfectant products, we have been unable to test efficacy against the specific COVID-19 strain of coronavirus. "However, the science suggests that Zoflora would be effective against this strain, as it is against other similar viruses within the standard five minutes contact time."
