England's Euro 2020 warm-up against Italy at the end of this month has been thrown into further doubt after Juventus defender Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus.
Juventus confirmed on Wednesday that Italy international Rugani had tested positive for Covid-19. The Italian giants said the 25-year-old had not shown any symptoms of the virus, but Rugani has now been quarantined in a bid to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to his Juve teammates.
The news piles more pressure on the FA over England's upcoming friendly against against Italy, which is set to take place at Wembley on March 27.
