Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt is “in love with Turin and Italy” and could stay for the next five to 10 years, according to his girlfriend’s father.

De Ligt, 20, sealed a £77m move to Juve from Ajax last summer, reportedly turning down offers from Barcelona and PSG, and has since racked up 27 appearances for the Italian champions.
