Profiteers taking advantage of dwindling supermarket supplies are selling baby milk for as much as 19 times its price. Cow and Gate and Aptamil brands are being sold on eBay for vastly inflated sums.

With baby milk increasingly hard to find on the shelves of Britain's shops, parents have been left wondering what to do. One 800g tin of Cow and Gate had reached £155 with four days to go and 18 bids having already been made.

The item usually sells for £7.99, The Sun reported. The seller claimed that they had bought the wrong milk by accident and had lost the receipt so they could not return it, leading them to list it online. Have you had difficulties getting essentials in during the epidemic?
