Are you a rare coin collector? A Peter Rabbit 50p coin was spotted on eBay for an eye-watering £4,359. The seller is offering free postage to anyone who purchases the small change which came into circulation in 2016.
According to The Royal Mint, the 50p chance was first released to celebrate Beatrix Potter's life. It is believed they were first issued 150 years since the birth of the English writer with fourteen coins entering circulation since 2016.
The 2016 coins are thought to be the rarest, featuring an up-close portrait of Peter Rabbit's face which are available in silver and gold.
Meanwhile, the seller on eBay believes that their coin is "very rare" and worth a little more than its usual price sold on the website.
