Coronation Street actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who plays Nicky Wheatley in the long-running soap, delighted fans as she returned to Weatherfield earlier this year.
Kimberly's character made their first appearance in June 2020 after meeting the recently widowed Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), but exited the soap just four months later to start a new life with her daughter.
However, the 34-year-old actress has reprised her role in the cobbles as Nicky works as a teaching assistant alongside Daniel at Weatherfield High.
But, the peace didn't last for long in typical soap fashion as last week Max Turner (Harry McDermott) overheard Daniel and his new girlfriend arguing about his past relationship with Nicky and her previous work, writes the Mirror.Max subsequently leaked a video and pictures of Nicky working in the sex trade, which led to her being hauled into Mrs Crawshaw's (Carla Mendonca) office and losing her job.But things are only going to get worse for Nicky, who discovers the gazette are preparing to publish an article about her.Despite her characters dramatic on-screen life, Kimberly couldn't be further away from her on screen persona.
