CORONATION Street's Max Turner star Paddy Bever has revealed the heart-breaking truth behind his NTAs win. The 19-year-old actor joined Corrie in September last year, taking over the role of Max from Harry McDermott. Since then, Max has had some hard hitting storylines and Paddy has impressed with viewers with his portrayal of the teen.

Coronation Street star Paddy Bever marked a soap milestone for his character this week. The actor is known for playing Max Turner in the ITV soap having taken over the role back in 2021.

Since Max Turner was first introduced in Coronation Street all the way back in 2010, the plucky young son of Kylie and David Platt has been at the heart of a number of high profile storylines over the years. Growing up in foster care, Max had struggled with a far from conventional life, with his own mother having even previously sold him to his aunt Becky McDonald for £20,000.

Things may seem to be going smoothly for Max Turner right now, but it is Coronation Street and things don't look set to be staying calm for much longer. The character, played by Paddy Bever, has been causing trouble on the cobbles ever since making an on-screen comeback back in September.
