Coronation Street's Kelly learns Gary's killer secret before Millie Gibson exit

Coronation Street, and her character Kelly Neelan has finally found out the truth about her murdered father.Kelly had been led to believe that her terminally ill mum, Laura (Kel Allen), killed her dad, Rick (Greg Wood), with the teen finding out about it while her mum was on her death bed.

However, viewers at home have long been aware that Rick's killer is the man who took Kelly in - Gary (Mikey North) who murdered the teen's dad back in 2019. READ NEXT: Coronation Street spoilers: Kelly death horror, Stephen exposed and Hayley heartacheIt all came to a head on the ITV cobbles when the long-kept secret was finally exposed to Kelly, when she was given a bag of her late mum's belongings.Inside the bag that she was given was a digital camera filled with snaps of her mum on holiday in Spain three years ago.As she clicked through the snaps, Kelly realised something that left her questioning everything.Looking in the corner of a glam selfie of her mum on the camera's viewfinder, Kelly made that shocking realisation that her mum was in Spain on the date that she claimed to have killed Rick.Still unaware that Gary was in fact the murderer, Kelly showed Gary what she had found but he convinced her to leave the past in the past until one of her dad's old pals made her second guess.Her dad's pal Sharon then revealed to the teen that Gary was the person who murdered her dad and covered it up.She also told her that he had coerced her dying mother to say she had killed Rick, which left Kelly in a state of shock and distress.Heading home after drying her eyes, Kelly appeared to keep the new information she had learned close to her chest as she carried on somewhat as normal.
