Coronation Street fans saw Kelly Neelan leave to start a new life following a dramatic final week in Weatherfield. In Friday's tear-soaked episode the troubled teen said farewell to her guardian Gary Windass after hiring a hitman on him, which went horribly wrong.
Her fiancé Aadi Alahan ended up getting shot after he raced to rescue his love when she was kidnapped by the same hitman she had hired to bump off Gary.
Teetering on the roof of the building looking over the city's skyline, it appeared as though Kelly might be killed off. However, it was Aadi who got shot as Kieron waved his gun at her and Aadi jumped in its path.
Thankfully Aadi survived. But realising she was a 'toxic' influence on his life, Kelly gave him back his engagement ring and decided to make a new start on her own.
