Coronation Street fans were stunned as the soap 'went there' as Tim Metcalfe was mocked over his manhood by neighbour Fiz Stape.
In comical scenes blundering Tim, played by Joe Duttine, was pretending to his wife Sally that he had forgotten their wedding anniversary.
In Wednesday night's episode (Wednesday October 5) Tim made out he had no idea it was their anniversary in a bid to wind Sally up.
But his plan backfired when she tore up her card to him and left the house in a huff. In his panic, he left the house with his dressing gown unfortunately flapping open and he unsuspectingly ran straight into gossiping Fiz and Mary Taylor. "I'd put some trousers on if I was you," Fiz told a mortified Tim. "Well that's not something you expect to see every day is it?" she asked Fiz. "Not something I want to see Mary thank you very much," Fiz retorted. "He's lucky there wasn't any hungry birds flying overhead." And she added snidely: "They'd need good eyesight though." "You are awful but I like it," chuckled Mary.
